Company history

We’re a team of relatively cool nerds - and parents - who asked ourselves what will happen in the future with the planet and humankind for our little ones if we don’t change our current trajectory. We didn’t like the answer, so we decided to do something to inspire and help change for the better. After all, it starts with us. We believe that raising kind, mindful, and resourceful kids happens by teaching them through play and example.

Q&A

What is the mission of Pink Fox Games?
Sustainability is the challenge of our time. Our mission is to help families make change to create a better future.

What is Happy Little Planet?
We’re a gaming application for mobile devices that has games and stories to teach kids through play, month-by-month. Our games are created to vivify the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and they’re built and cross-checked by multiple experts including early education teachers, a sustainability expert, a moral philosopher, and kids as testers.

Why is it useful?
Parents often wonder about how to equip their children for the future when the environment, humanity and our well-being is at risk. Happy Little Planet empowers parents and their little ones to see how they can help create a better future (and a better present!). With our games, eco-conscious and self-care habits start to come naturally for little ones, and parents and kids can see how their actions make a difference.

We foresee a big impact.
Kids (and we say grown-ups too!) learn so much through play, and all of our games, mini games, stories, and the coming School Edition activities are passing along the ideas of SDG (Sustainable Development Goals).

Your main focus is on young children. Why is that?
In preschool, children are most receptive to information they learn about the world and their relationship to the world becomes part of it - and that direction becomes natural and self-evident. It’s when we’ve done something for the future and when we show our children new solutions that they, equipped, can look to their own future with more confidence.

Why is sustainability education important?
We know our planet simply cannot continue to support human needs if we continue the way we are. Teaching new norms of an eco-conscious lifestyle and human kindness, we more deeply familiarize ourselves with these concepts as well nurture our children to grow into them so our planet can thrive for generations to come.

About the games
In addition to the message, it's important that our games work very well with quality appearance, animations, music, and sound. We also built a whole character world of characters who have their own personalities, too. Fun fact: the names of the characters are inspired by our kids.

How much screen time?
For children 2 to 5, limit screen time to one hour per day of high-quality programming.
